Great find at the auction.. congrats on it's use.. those spray welders can come in super handy for more than just building up shafts.. If done properly you can also build up rusted or worn cast iron...

Boy would that be nice.. Lot of that stuff is just made from scrap.. A36 while it has a lot of usefulness I do declare it is finicky and has a tendency to get stress fractures while forging it..

I ended up going with t he middle link in the middle or even vs one side up Nd one side down.

Reason is it seemed to lock the axle and spring the other way..
