With out PICs I would think about maybe putting them up on "sticks" like you see on some boat trailers.
That might get them up and out of your way when working and yet be seen when rolling.

I have a collection of Ford pulleys on the wall
Bad bearings in all.
But it is much cheaper to buy the whole pulley...
