Are you sure that thing is a 4,000 lb axle? Maybe its a 2,000 lb axle. Either way the weld should be great for its purpose in life.

I got all the drawings in .dwg and .dxf Then I exported some nestings for a 48x96 sheet of steel. Not sure that the leads exported in the dxf, but I tried.

Then who knows...
