Our work OBU's (Samsung Galaxy tabs) shut down charging if they are too cold also. I will get a message to the effect charging has been suspended due to low battery temp. :confused:

Worked on it for awhile today. It's going together pretty good in spite of how god-awful rusty I am with a torch and welder. I even re-purposed part of an old project to dress it up a bit. :p

Those are good ones I've used that style. All of them have to be used right. The single biggest factor is the hole for the extractor has to be as close to dead center as possible.
