I hate to bring up an old thread, but I just had a 2600 sq ft patio poured yesterday.

I was hoping to get some input on if I need to spray it down and how often. The guys who poured it said spray it down in the mornings for 1 week, not during the heat of the day. I think our high temperature will be in the mid 90s this week. I have also read on line that it should be sprayed down and covered with plastic to keep it wet continuously.

What do you guys recommend?

Needs to be wet continuously so every hour or so.. Plastic would be the best bet. Spray it down generously and lay the plastic over it. Done. 3 days max...after that, you want it to start to dry out.

Don I am going to pour a floor in my pole barn. Going to use the perimeter joists for forms. I won't be able to do the usual screed so what kind of slump do I need for it to more or less self level. I do have a bull float. The mix plant is just up the road and so it won't be that costly.

Moe, as per our conversation on Friday, look at post #27 and that should give you a pic or two and explanations to show you what I was talking about.
