The Gnap should not winter in South La. In fact, I've never seen a bottle of Code Red on the shelf, anywhere here. Not that I've ever seen a platypous either. Marsh Rats and Musk but that's about it. We've got beaver, but the care and feeding seem outlandishly expensive.

"but the care and feeding seem outlandishly expensive." Particularly when they leave and ask for, and get support payments.

Default Vulcan Rod

Vulcan rod compared to Lincoln not a good comparison sort of rotten apples to fresh picked. Vulcan rods do burn hotter and a better comparison would be to Hobart rod.

I've noticed as well HF brand rods Vulcan or before HF rods burned different all together from rod to rod they are not consistent out of the same box. Hobart rods are a bit more consistent.

I have a bit of this that and the other in brands and depending on what i am welding will depend on what rod brand I burn.

Not to mention i don't see any real savings here in the price between Hobart and Vulcan, But for general in a pinch need to weld something out at the farm either one will do but on the job neither one will fit the build for me. JIMO..

but even Vulcan rod you can find that sweet spot, amp wise they will burn fair at.
