Welp, this turned out to be fruitless. Owner want $900 for it. I offered $300. He won't budge off the $900. Thanks to all for the answers.

You can get the specs/manual for that and something like an Idealarc 250 and compare a bit as far as may output AND duty cycle. That one is a bit heftier and has a bit more output than the 250A class, which recommend about an 80 Amp breaker, IIRC.

Our Dialarc 250 runs on a 50A breaker, though we've used it little and not pushed it. The Syncrowave 250 tripped a 70A breaker, but that was with a water cooler attached and in cold weather on startup.

Edit: Late to the party with my response. Air arc at 250? Guessing 80 Amps at 240 in. Just guessing.

I'm not familiar with the machine but there is probably a jumper inside near the input power that will switch it from 230 to 460 operation. This is just a guess...

I got mine for $250....There is a local guy trying the same tactic on craigslist.

He started at $1200, in 3 years I think he's now down to $300.

But he spammed & spoofed the ad so many times, nobody will touch it.

Also "Single Phase" in that model is not "Rare".....
Which how this guy tried to sell it.

change the jumpers on the inside and it'll run on either. They're under the same cover the main power cord goes in. I've run my 300/300 tig in a 60 amp breaker for years but can only get about 230 amps out of it before it starts killing the breaker

You can get more money for single phase machines, 3 phase sells cheaper as
most people don't have it available. IMO $300 is very low. Assuming the
machine is 100% depending on what comes with it, leads Tig torch Tig pedal
etc. $900 might be very reasonable. If it is a bare machine but everything
works I am thinking $400-600 is a good price. Those are solid machines with
good arc characteristics.

A friend of mine just purchased a new weldcraft TIG torch and Profax pedal for
his kid for Christmas and dropped a little over $400.

My Dynasty 300DX would trip my 70 amp breaker when I had it running full
out. I upgraded the wire and breaker to 100 amps. No problems now.

It has by looking at the pics, 40' leads.

Does NOT appear to have HF. $900 is way too high.

My thoughts too. HF would be nice, but not why I was looking at this machine. Expect he will never sell it for $900, especially stating it is 3 phase. I may wait a few weeks and repeat my initial $300 offer.
