Got a free scale today out of the scrap dumpster at CTC today. works perfect nothing wrong that I can see. Put a lifting wait on it and it read 5.0 pounds the wait says 4.4 pounds on it. so its half a pound off or the wait is off? Oh well it was free, it works, and I got it.

Use a weight and it will read right...

Wait a minute, it's reading 2.6 lbs...

I saw "FREE!" and immediately clicked...

So, what do I get?

That's not a bad scale, even when you have to pay for it!

Check the battery.
When they get weak the scale will get flaky.

Free and pictures, You suck! (don't get too excited about a you suck from me though, I am notorious for making you suck mistakes. You may not actually suck if Cutter finds something wrong. So, wait until he gives you the official suckage before you start telling your friends that you suck)

Default Cranky rant

Let's try that word again: B A S T A R D S

Fercryinoutloud! I's not like I was being mean!

Oh well... it's just software. It's not perfect, but I'm not going to complain about it. As long as our gracious host (Thanks Ron!) provides this site, I will do my best to work with it.

Back to topic-

Migwelder05: I sure hope you are paying attention to what's happening here.

To be brutally honest, you SUCK at spelling and grammar. If you don't improve that it will eat away at your choices in life. Some folks here are trying to help you with that.

It might be because you haven't paid enough attention, or it might be because you haven't gotten adequate schooling. That's in the past, and can't be changed. Time to move forward!

The good news is that there are a bunch of people here who like you and will help you get that stuff straight. Even better, we're not "teachers". We don't report to the principal or the school board. We're here because we like it here, not because we're collecting a paycheck. When you screw up, we'll probably let you know. Sometimes the point of the comments will be obvious. Sometimes you'll have to look for them.

Anyway, if you want to improve your communication skills, I have some advice for you:

Pay a LOT of freakin' attention to the responses you get here. We won't always just answer your questions. Sometimes we'll point out the mistakes in the way you ask them. It's up to you to figure out (or ask about) the details.

It's not always simple or obvious...but you have friends here.

Weight Dylan, I found the American model, but unfortunately it seems to have the same inherent ability for inaccurate predictions.
