Hi Thanks for posting this up.. I've seen this guy work on other things and while I find his skill set to be pretty good, sometimes one should leave some things alone..

I dislike his improper methods for taking these blowers apart and I just can't watch that kind of behavior..

Vintage is vintage.. The blowers patent date is what he was using as a reference but they built those blowers right up till they went out of business/production with nearly no changes at all the whole time..

If you compare Buffalo blowers to Champion.. 7 out of 10 like the Champion better.. I'm one out of the 3 that likes the buffalo better..

thanks for posting just the Same Chris.. it wasn't till he shoved the screw drives between the 2 gears to get the nut off that I couldnt watch anymore..

in many days ago I had done the same thing and completely ruined the smooth running of the blower which I later sold.. I was an idiot and learned the lesson the first go around..

He did do a couple things that I thought were a little crude, but I also give him some credit for taking on the job.

Most times it's not because one might not know better, it's more that they do not give a shit one way or another.

They never achieve success on the bigger scheme of things, but find self-serving glory as most others don't know shit either. sigh........

True that.. I am always hopeful that instead of working harder or throwing that "Ah screw it".. I'm just gonna do it anyhow, anyway...

Some fore thought might be put out and then go about it in a logical manner/method..

I'm lucky in that the Farrier business has been pretty kind to me and of late I am doing the blacksmithing again more out of fun vs necessity which means I can dabble and produce the videos I have..

Chris I did give him kudo's for doing it but the parts are worth something and do destroy something which needn't be ruined is false economy..

I do apprciate you sharing it as there is good information in the video for those not in the know.. I was very glad he figured out the impeller screwed off vs pressed on so that was encouraging..

Thanks again for thinking of me.. The champion in the trailer will get new bearings next year as they are noise.
