I'm leaving for a wedding in Anchorage, AK tomorrow but will be back in time to make the long drive from the Jersey shore.

I'm coming!

Before I depart, I will need a head count for the sea food.

I'll second that!

I'm off on Friday, should be heading down sometime after noon.

Anything I should being as far as materials, tools etc.? I can bring a rotobroach, portaband, etc. You guys have more sophisticated welders than I have. I can stop at my local steel yard if something specific is needed.

I'll bring local handmade cheese.

I've had a 30A spool gun for years and I really suck at using it, so I'm hoping you guys can get me pointed in a better direction than I've been going. I'll bring mine and a WC-24 unless someone else has it, since I'll have the "Yanmarha" in the back of the truck for everyone to beat the shit out of it.
I'll also bring some 1/2" aluminum and some wire.

I am by no means an expert, but I have used a spool gun a little. Might be able to help out. I know it likes it hot!

I'll be up Saturday all day for sure.

What should I bring, if anything, toy wise?

Mrs Windy and Smokin are more than fine chefs, and if you go hungry, it's your own fault. I can bring supplies for foods too, just let me know.

Just was looking at the weather, the weekend calls for low 70s to mid 50s at night, chance of rain, at this point, is pretty low, but the weather guessers change their minds by the hour.

Last Thursday, I fucked up my right ankle in a big way ( included a trip to ER the swelling got so large ), who ever shows up early, if willing, can help to move some vehicles out of the morton building, if that is where you guy plan to camp this year.

Right now, Im wearing a ankle brace and hobbling around and dont think I will be even near my " game " of moving around fluidly by the weekend.

I did enough damage to the meat of my foot, my foot is black and blue from my heal to my toes, and up my ankle. So Im not really " prepared " in any fashion for this weekend, but in the same breath, there is little preparing to do. I usually cut the grass, move shit around for parking and the like. If I have a second set a of hands, I cant get the skid loader out and move anything that is to heavy to move by hand, and does not drive on its own, but still need some help that way.

I'm likely not much help, but was planing on being down between the 4-7 time frame on Friday Night. Other than that I thought our camp site was the other barn next to your cattle field? The Morton was always base of operations for any project that needed it.

Hope your ankle gets better soon!

Dang Bill, you sure are rough on yourself.

I plan on leaving out Friday morning, should be there around 2-4 pm. I can give ya a hand shuttling treasure.

I'm bringing a smoker, lunch for the horde Saturday, some fixings for dinner Saturday, an Sa 200 welding machine and one of those black assault type things.

As a side note I work ten minutes from Midway USA. If anyone has large items or wants to save shipping I can pick items up direct and save you shipping.
