Default What Do We Do Now?

We have a new neighbour moving in to the complex where our business is located--right across the parking lot, actually. The previous tenant left behind a Toyota electric forklift with a non-working battery. Their move was a big step up the ladder for them so they bought a brand new forklift for their new facility. The new neighbour wanted nothing to do with the old forklift--just wanted it out of their space so a couple days ago I called one of the guys from the old place and asked him what they wanted for the forklift. He said he'd talk to his bosses and let me know if they wanted to sell and, if so, how much. He stopped by this afternoon to tell me that the forklift was indeed for sale. When I asked him how much he said: "We just want it gone so give us a hundred bucks and it's yours. I near broke my wrist getting my wallet out.

Now we have to decide what to do with it. Batteries are expensive but it could be just one bad cell or we could try de-sulphating it. Another option could be to go the way Ironman did and convert it to a hydraulic drive but we really don't have time for a project now and neither do we have a lot of space to store it. I guess I'll try putting it on Craigslist and see what happens--it's sure seems too nice to send for scrap...

Measure twice and cut once...or...wait, was that the other way around?
