Default Freeing a stuck Bridgeport knee thanks to Forrest Addy.

Thanks to the outstanding instructions posted on Practical Machinist by Forrest Addy (his posts are always worth a read) my friend will have a nice Bridgeport for small money.

Single post link below (I'm casement on PM) but read the whole thread before attempting broken gib removal. The technique could be applied to other machines.

BTW the mill wiring will be reassembled with twist-lock plugs to make future maintenance a breeze.
