Default Dodge Repair

Here are some pics of the front end of my Dodge. It is at the shop. Should be getting to it about next Wednesday. The front left tie rod is bent and the bumper and cowling below thew hood will need replaced along with the brackets the bumper and cowling bolt to. Hoping the rack and pinion box is OK that the tie rod is bent. Unknown if the upper control arm and ball joints are damaged.

The Dodge got into the shop yesterday and after taking oiff the damaged bumper you can see the forward end of the frame is bent to one side about 1/2" on both sides. In addition to the bumper, the tie rod is bent, the inner fender is shot and both bumper brackets are bent as well as the fog lights in the bumper are shot. No decision on the upper control arm or the rack and pinion box.

More tomorrow.

When you bolt the ranch hand bumper up it will pull the frame back.

I have no formal training. I did read about it on the net though......

The frame ends are bent enough that the hood is misaligned with the fenders. You can see a slight angle to the fender mount bushings. Looks like 1/2". Hope to have it back end of next week.
