Default Front load washing machine.

This was disgusting, our 12 year old front loader died, I never like the damned
thing, starting with the $1200 SWMBO shelled out for it. Also you constantly
had to run machine cleaner through it. Well I had the kid demo it yesterday
for a scrap run. Here are pictures of the back of the drum and the inside of
the tub. 1/4" thick fungus. Just gross.

Shade maybe you could make a couple of flower pots for SWMBO as a $1200.00 reminder??

Might not be a good idea, she might perform revenge on you!

Ugly! are you going with a top loader this time? I have heard that the new ones suck also. Once you start a wash and shut the door you can't get back in until it runs it's coarse, and if it breaks down during a wash you are SOL

Typical of any washing machine or dishwasher once you get past the part that you can clean!

GE it has electro mechanical controls, you can also run it with a full tub of
water and the top does not lock. The HE is still default to get by regulations
but you and hit a button to bypass it.

It has the center agitator that many have gone away with and it was under
$500 before tax...

I figured you'd have put the old front loader in the garage to tumble brass....
