Yes, but the other mill has to leave first.

Default Thankk You Jack

Today I got at the mill for a bit.
Platypus sent me two new crank handles for the mill to replace the missing and damaged ones by flat rate box which were delivered by Milomilo the postman. While Chris was here we did other stuff, so today I decided to fit these handles to the machine.
The keyway in the handles was something different and so was the woodruff key in the machine, as it was 5 mm wide. So I carefully broached the ratcheting collar to 3/16, and as the collar was quite thin, I stopped the broach in mid stroke and pushed it back. I did not want to go deeper then the original key slot.
So as 3/16 is .1875 and the 5mm key is .1968, I filed the edges of the key a little and shaved off the top about 10 thou til it all fit.
The handles operate perfectly and add a touch of SFT class to the machine.
Thanks again, PlatypusJack

Good show.
I hope I never have to return the parts & pieces Jack & others have contributed to my machines/shop over the years.

Gerry, I may have a line on a new sensor for the travel limit system. I may, possibly, perhaps also have a line on a manual for the controller unit too. Not sure on the manual, another friend is looking through his library.....

A common sense approach, overnight ingenuity of thought, patience(lots of patience), friends with benefits and a crowd of on-lookers. You cannot beat the ethic Gerry.

Good show, great work Gerry and a special thanks for our friends and friends of friends here at SFT. You've done me well over the years and I'm appreciative as well.

Gerry, please PM me a surface address to send the sensor to if and when it comes into my possession (ATM, looks like early next week).

Just a heads up that ignition site you posted has the sensors you need shown on it.

Gerry Not quite a manual, more of an info sheet for the controller. http://www.alliedelec.com/m/d/f5212c...f1fa86cfda.pdf
