Talking What's it going to be?

Just finished up a project using the pictured items. Anyone wager a guess what they were used for?

HINT: I used both the table top and a sturdy shelf above as part of this assemblage of "tools"...

And 2 pairs of tubes of JB Kwik epoxy...

PS: that is corduroy stapled to the wood and not very apparent is that the wood under it is cut at about a 15^ angle.

I'll report back in a couple/few days with the answer/results.

Parts and pieces to glue/ epoxy something together. The wood attached to the clamp was used to push down from the shelf onto the bench against the other pieces of wood to compress/ clamp what needed to be held together. The corduroy was to protect the delicate finish on the parts being epoxied.

I was going with this, but the extended spreader clamp has me puzzled.
