Default Sorta Git Tother

Ironman and I, plus wives, are driving up the Alcan to AK next June/July and I was wondering if any of the SFTers here would like us to drop in for a day and do a face to face.

If your interested, PM me and we will try to make it happen. Always nice to put a face to a name.

Any idea of how many members live along the Alcan? It's definitely a bucket list trip.

Unrelated, but I will be back in Douglas over mother's day weekend. If I can manage, I'd like to swing buy for a visit, maybe Walter will be there too.

That would be great! It is too far out to predict Walter, but he might be here. PM sent.

If I’m out there at the time I would be game to try to catch up with you for a spell.

Also any info etc about the trip would be helpful, we’re hoping to do that trek ourselves, but not for another year or two.

Chris, When you go take a replacement picture of these two for me. :-) You should have a much easier trip than we did in 1963 in a Pontiac Tempest. Station wagon.

Yeah, it is all paved now. I will get the pics for you. The AK sign has been replaced I am sure. Will also get the Fairbanks end of the Alcan pic too.

We would be glad to meet you. We will all have lots of pics and stories of the trip that we can share. First thing you will need is a Milepost book with all the routes and sights to see. Excellant book.
