Default Picked up some more Oxy-Acet gear cheaply

Hi Guys, went on a holiday and found some more Oxy-Acet gear for sale at a good price that I couldn't refuse, the guy was selling his late fathers gear off, who was a mechanic/engineer and as the son knows nothing about any sort of tools he just wanted them to go to someone who might use them.

Picked this lot up for AU$40 , the torch tips go from a size 1 to a size 32, so should cover nearly all my oxy-acet needs, apart from a rosebud which I still have to find. I am going to offload all the regulators and the Colt 22 handles as I don't need them, might put them in a garage sale and see if anyone wants to make an offer on them otherwise I will give them away.

I also got a "Little Torch" plus 5 tips and hoses, so I might try my hand at some artwork at some stage when I get some time, but that set cost me $36 off E-Bay.

So, how does one say "YOU SUCK" in Aussie???????

Well,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, hell, YOU SUCK.

I've got two of the small finger torches for Jewelry work or fine Silver braze/soldering.

That is one hell of a haul for, even considering the ER.

Nice haul.

The cross centre is just a holder with 4 threaded posts and they just hold 4 more tips each, between the two of them the tips range from size 1 to a size 6 tip. Those tips just screw on the blowpipe to the left of them.

Thank you all, now have to go through the gear and sell off the excess bits and pieces.

Cheers
Ed.

I don't think the tool post wrenches really belong in the lot.

Each leg is a sized heating/brazing tip/welding tip. The square block in the center is just the holder. Commonly found in a plumbers tool box if the internet is to believed.

I've got one set with 6 tips around the center block. Fits nothing I have, but it looks nice once shined up and is currently used as a paper weight on my desk in the Machine Room. loll
