Lightbulb Turned a Magnetic Drill into a drill Press

I made a base for my Magnetic drill so I could drill very small pcs. of any type of material Steel,Stainless,Alum,Copper,Brass and Plastic. Can drill a hole in a very small pcs. I can drill a 2 3/8" hole in something as small as 3"x3" by 1/16" Sheet metal. This base works really well for a small shop like mine. Was not hard to make this pcs..Took about 10 hours to build the first one. Well let me know what you think.

"The first picture was a Drawling design and my print you could say"
I also made detail prints of each pcs will post them later.
Thank you and enjoy Vernon

Hey, PA Welder If you have any ? Let me know. There is 4 measurement that tells you how to set up the base pcs. Each machine is a little different so you most take that in to count. Just ask I will help.

PS: Thanks for serving our country "The greatest American ever served our country"

Thanks Dave I spend a great deal of time thinking before I build. Try to find a good balance of functionality/Artistic Design. I throw a lot of paper in the trash trying to get that balance. My dad always says 10 mins of thinking will save hours when building. I say "The Best tool in a shop is your Brain"
