That's a fact, that is a damn smooth running machine. Welding with it last year really made me reconsider pining over a pretty new blue machine - I would certainly be satisfied with an old SA that ran as well as yours.

Careful what you wish for. You could own one that looks just like mine after the gtg.

It's been a while but tonight I put the finishing touches on the PHD. It's hanging in the shop ready to get mounted in the am.

I ran a pass of 6010 to clean and heat and then ran 7018 until I had the shape I wanted. If I had it to do again I'd try to get some carbon for the backing bar. My copper worked but I had to watch and not get it too hot or the weld started sticking to it. (Prolly not pure copper but the price was right)

It welded beautiful the whole time. It was really pretty easy to do. Tomorrow we will find out if it was worth a fuck.

It is. I'm in purge mode and prices are being slashed like crazy. I bought it as project and to build my shop. It's still a project and my shop is built.......

I sold mamas truck. Priced mine today. Lawn mower or two is getting the ax and a trailer is soon to go. I'm trying for less quantity and more quality. "Trying"

Only thing I'll never sell is the wimmens and tractors.

Pricing and selling are two different things.

But yes it needs to go. I need four doors now with the chilrens and the club cab just doesn't cut it.

I just wish I could find a good deal on a nice 6.0
