Default Snowmobile lift finished

Finished up this sled lift along with the dolly. Raises it up so you can work with out bending over. Could have been slightly taller and wider as the bolt heads hit the track when slid under a 16" track. I got the plans off doo talk and added an inch in width on my sketchs. The jack is off the shelf trailer stuff with the bracket and foot removed. I also removed the crank handle and replaced it with a 1/2" drive deepwell impact socket to drive it with an impact wrench. I'll post prints next. TB

I dont but it lays all the way down. The overall height when closed is 6" the base (2") the top (2") and the top cross piece (2"). Some guys put wheels on them but I thought I'd like a stable work platform. Wheels on the back would be nice to slide it under the sled but works good. TB

I always am most impressed with the use of simple mechanics in a setting as the screw jack has been used. Nice work.

Nice project. Not alot of snow here in Florida, but I bet I could make a few changes and build a nice motorcycle lift.

I just sold my sled table. It's too big to keep in my shop and too heavy to keep draggin it in and out.
Mine was pretty much the same but had an air cylinder on it. Pretty slick.
Nice job Travis.!
You guys got snow yet?
We have lots way up high but none down here yet.
Supposed to get a dump of it come thursday.

Yeah, Torker we're in the same boat as you it was 58 degrees in town yesterday! Average was supposd to be 33. Supposed to be some storms rolling in this week though. I understand the storage issue but I needed to do a couple projects for ME! I ordered an LED tailight for my sled yesterday just so I had a reason to use the lift. TB
