Default Unique Turning Method

I've heard about this guy a lot. Decided to check out his channel.

He's got lots of neat ideas on multiple subjects so, I hope everyone checks the whole channel. Even if you're not into machining.

Thinking of Tim and his gathering up lathe tools. Here is a Video that shows you don't even need a caliper, just balls of steel.

I never really liked Diresta videos for some reason? I see he has successfully marketed his name and is selling trinkets. http://shop.jimmydiresta.com/ One of his videos he made 100 fancy monogrammed (of course) ice picks and sold out at $60 each. Better rape that 15 mins for all its worth...

If He Half a brain he'd have used the hatchet a bit more. What would Roy Underhill say about that? :-) I just thought of something. How about a chain saw rigged up to act like a "roughing" cutter. ?? :-)
