Default Wiring for the Electrically Challenged

Today I was putting around and I stumbled onto this site which gives an excellent tutorial on magnetic switch relays and how to wire them.

You do have to know that NO means Normally Open, and NC means Normally Closed, though

I remember a house where some of the light switches said FFO and NO. Most of them said ON and OFF.
