thansk guys, the best part is the 6 foot pipe pulled down the 20 inches gave a lot of torque to the bar starter. the back of the armature would bend up but the gear teeth broke. oh well.

That third picture cracked me up because it looks like those cats could be parked outside a favorite bar somewhere.
They just look so social.

It made me wonder if there might be cat gangs just like there are biker gangs and if there might be bars that cater to the cat gangs just like there are biker bars?
Now I'm picturing radical death's head & crossbone paint jobs on cats with ape hanger bars & lots of chrome & leather, big rampaging hordes of them sweeping through sleepy little towns, terrorizing the citizens & driving the dogs crazy.
All this happening at the speed of 2 miles per hour, or course.
So maybe not.

GWIZ -- i'm running short on the 5 gallon pails, even in canada they are still known as the 5 gallon not the 18 litre pail, lol.

cutter -- all joking a side it is true. when the cat trains came to town the would unhook the sleighs and drive to the cafe or bar with the cats. the roads were not plowed back then so the cats were the way to get a round. i have some pictures on CDs that i'll dig out showing the cats being used a vehicles back in the day.
