Default 9" Jancy Metal Cutting Circular Saw

During the bench grinder stand build, I had 3 quick cuts to do, so instead of firing up, one of the multiple plasma cutters, I decided to use the Jancy metal cutting circular saw, I've had the saw for about 10-12 years and have used it exactly 3 times before, the last time, probably about 10-12 years ago.

It very quickly came back to me, why I don't use this more often, its noisy, throws hot chips everywhere, is cumbersome to use, cut speed is slow and finally, clean up is a major chore. On the plus side, when ran against a fence, has excellent cut quality, looks like it was cut by a razor blade.

As with most tools, there are times when this would be a true asset, like cutting metal roofing, after it has been installed, in a place where the lack of proper electric/air demands makes a plasma cutter unusable. Does it beat a sawzall, a jig saw or a slicing wheel on a grinder, maybe.

Not only do I have a 9" version, but for some unknown reason, I also own a 7" version. While I can see this is a viable tool, under limited certain conditions, it will never be a go to tool for me.
