Makes a lot of sense, I had forgot that the two I’d repaired would have been machine sewn. I agree with the hand stitching rarely coming loose/undone if done correctly. I also didn’t think about the glue, again most of the stuff I’d done wasn’t able to be glued for various reasons.

I love the patina and feel of well worn, good quality leather.
