2 things to help you on your pursuit of the perfect 2nd hand shop:
1. I built my own bar joist's, it's easy. Set up a log splitter with stops
to make the zig-zag web.
2. I built a roof coating spray gun, to give it an even, silver coat
when done, to cover up the different colors.
Use the fiberized, silver roof coat, the aluminum paste rises to the surface
upon application, if sprayed, it looks much more even.

I have some help on my building coming but I'm going to take a brake The weather is supposed to be really bad here till after Tuesday and i need to get some other indoor work done prior to starting back on out door building work

I do appreciate the offer though, when things slow down here a bit more i give you a holler for a meet an greet.

Ill have to get some pics later....The material it may be a bit odd on what i am using to set my purlins on for the awning but it is very stout.

Here is the support beams being made to put my purlins on for the awning
they were welded shelving units i picked up about their 4" x3-3/4" x 18' long and are heavy gauge metal so I figured they will work out in this form.

Default a little more progersssssss

well we got a little more done today once this is all done then I will need install the electric an lights and get the doors built, I was thinking putting up some 1/2'' or 3/4'' round bar
all around the awning top and bottom and using it to put up welding curtains that sort of act like shower curtains... So they can slide open or closed so neighbors don't complain about the arc flashing in the wee hours of the night as during the summer i mostly work at night when its cooler.

The new helper I have is a go getter he's been down on his luck and needed work and seems to be working out real well, I just hope he wants to stick with it. when other jobs come up best thing is he's no stranger to this kind of work and knows his way around it. And I don't need to hold his hand and tell him but once what needs to be done and he is on it

Haven't seen any "good deals" on lifts, Most lifts I've seen lately they seem to want a new price for and most of those were well used...and not worth it as i can add 300 bucks to the price and get a new one...
